Here is a simple 5 minute breakfast recipe that contains over 30 grams of protein. If you're after improved metabolic health, better blood sugar stabilization, improved energy levels, less afternoon cravings and better hormonal health then you want to start your day with a minimum of 30 grams of protein.

THE TOTAL PROTEIN IN THIS MEAL - 4x eggs (1 egg = 6 grams) + 2x tbsp almond butter (1 tbsp = 4 grams) = 32 grams.

The benefits of this meal:

Eggs - protein, choline, B vitamins, vitamin A & D
Spinach - fibre and antioxidants
Apple - fibre and carbohydrates
Almond butter - healthy fats and vitamin E

Ingredients:

 4 eggs
 2 handfuls of spinach
 1 organic apple, chopped
 1-2 tbsp almond butter

Method:

Simply crack the eggs into a bowl, whisk them together with a fork. Mix through the spinach. Cook the eggs (scrambled or omelette) into a heated pan with either melted butter or olive oil. Once done, add the eggs onto a plate with the chopped apple and almond butter.
