This high fibre no-grain bircher is gut-friendly, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, low GI and is paleo and vegan friendly. This breakfast is also very high in protein and good fats, starting your day with a breakfast high in fat and protein is vital if you want to have stable energy levels throughout the day. These two food groups also help to switch off hunger hormones. This is a fantastic make-a-head breakfast that you could prep during the weekend so you can a breakfast that you can grab as your run out the door in the morning.
Ingredients:
3tbspchia seeds
1tbsppumpkin seeds
1tbspsunflower seeds
1tbspcoconut shreds
½tspcinnamon
20-30 gram serving of protein powder (vanilla flavour works well)
1prune, roughly chopped
2brazil nuts, roughly chopped
1cupunsweetened almond milk or coconut milk
1kiwi fruit (or 1/2 cup berries)
Method:

Place all ingredients (except the kiwi fruit) into a jar or bowl and mix well until combined.

Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight.

The following morning, peel and slice up the kiwi fruit. Add kiwi fruit ontop of the bircher and enjoy.
