Starting your day with a nutritious chocolate waffle (that's high in protein) is always a good idea, especially when you smear it with almond butter and top it off with raspberries, what more could you want for breakfast!

Ingredients:

 1 small banana
 2 egg
1 serving of chocolate protein powder
 1 tbsp psyllium husk
 2 tbsp coconut flour
 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
 ½ tsp cinnamon
 1 tbsp almond butter
¼ cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)

Method:

1

Pre-heat waffle iron. Add all ingredients except the berries and almond butter into a blender and blend until combined. Let this mixture sit for a few minutes to thicken up slightly.

2

Pour into waffle maker and cook until golden brown, roughly 3-4 minutes. (You can cook them more or less, depending on your personal preference).

3

If you use frozen raspberries - heat a small saucepan over low-medium heat, add raspberries and gently warm them for 2-3 minutes.

4

Remove cooked waffle from the waffle iron, smear with almond butter and top with raspberries.
