This NZ summer has been so hot and recently very humid, so all things cold are in order! Whenever I need a refreshing and cooling snack or dessert nice-creams are always high on my list. So if you're a dairy-free ice-cream fan then you will love this way of satisfying your ice-cream cravings. You can also jazz this recipe up and make it a delicious banana chocolate treat by adding 2 tbsp raw cacao powder.

Add banana, coconut cream, salt and cinnamon into a high-speed blender and blend together until it forms a thick creamy consistency. Eat immediately, or place in the freezer for 1-2 hours for a firmer consistency.
To make the chocolate sauce add all ingredients into a small saucepan and melt together over low heat, mix until well combined.
Pour the chocolate sauce over the banana and enjoy!
