This combination may sound a little strange at first, but trust me, it’s delicious! This breakfast is high in protein which is exactly what your body needs to start the day. Higher protein breakfasts will also support stable blood sugar levels, reduce cravings and support weight balance. This chocolate almond butter omelette is also easy to make and kid friendly too!<\/h2>\n

Ingredients<\/h3>\n

3<\/span> <\/span> eggs<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> <\/span> medium banana<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> tbsp<\/span> raw cacao powder<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> tsp<\/span> psyllium husk<\/span><\/div>\n
1\/2 tsp cinnamon<\/span><\/div>\n
Pinch of sea salt<\/span><\/div>\n
2<\/span> tbsp<\/span> coconut or greek yoghurt<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> tbsp<\/span> almond butter<\/span><\/div>\n
1<\/span> tsp<\/span> coconut oil<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mash 3\/4 of the banana into a small bowl. Add the eggs, cacao powder, psyllium husk, cinnamon, salt and mix together until well combined (alternative is to add all these ingredients into a nutribullet and blend until smooth). <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Melt coconut oil in a fry pan over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook for 3-4 minutes on one side, flip then cook for a further 1-2 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Transfer omelette onto a plate, add 1 tbsp yoghurt into the middle of the omelette and spread it around.
